Spaghetti night

This was dinner last night. It was Jordyn's first time having spaghetti and boy did she like it! As always Kylie loved it also! As you can see both girls really got into eating it! I'm not sure how much got into their mouths. Needless to say right after dinner their next move was into the bath tub!

Jordyn's new style!

This is Jordyn after she woke up from her nap yesterday! She had a lovely new hair style! The Mohawk really looks good on her!

It's official

Yep that's right I now have a very big girl! Kylie is in big girl panties! She is doing so good with potty training. She loves wearing her panties and has had very few accidents so far. She still wears a diaper at night but the last few morning she has been dry when she gets up so it won't be long and that diaper will be gone! We are so proud of her and she is so proud of herself.

Oh no here we go...

Well the day has come I now have to chase after 2 children! Yep Jordyn is walking!!! She has been taking steps for awhile but over the last week has really improved and is officially walking now! Kylie isn't sure what to think about it because Jordyn can get into more things now and can bug her more! Jordyn loves walking she is so proud of herself. It is so cute she will start walking and stop and look for you then give you her big cheecky smile laugh and start walking again! I love it! At the same time it makes me sad she is growing up. My babies are getting to big!

Jordyn's one year pictures

well we finally got Jordyn's one year pictures taken yesterday. We were waiting for a time that she didn't have a brusie of scratch of some sort on her face. She is always bumping into something and getting a mark! She was not into pictures at all yesterday. They got a few good pictures but not many. Since she spent most of the time crying or running away I am surprised they got any! The good thing about it is that I didn't have to spend much money! I will post some when we get them.

Jordyn's one

Well the day came! My baby turned one! I can't believe she is growing so fast. She is such a fun little one. She loves to smile and dance. I love her cheecks which she is starting to lose. At her one year check up she wieghed 21 pounds 8 ounces and was 29.5 inches long. We had her party at our house and had family and friends come over. Some friends from work came with their little ones. Kelly came with Ella and Hailey. Ella is about a week older than Kylie and Hailey is 3 months older than Jordyn. Todtou came with her son Drew who is 10 months old. The kids had fun playing together. Kylie really liked Drew she was calling him her boyfriend. Jordyn really liked her cake. I think she liked playing with it more than eating it. And of coarse she got spoiled. She got a lot of cute things. I still can't believe she is one! She wasn't walking by her birthday but she is taking lots of steps now.

Snow day

This was the first snow we got and the first time Jordyn played in the snow! She liked it at first but that only lasted for a few minutes then she was done. Kylie on the other hand didn't want to come back inside. She loved playing in the snow she was having fun throwing snowballs at everyone. Poor girl didn't have any gloves and her hands would get so cold. But she would just wait until they warmed up and start playing again. The snow only lasted about 2 days and then it was gone. Just long enough for the girls to play and not to cause any problems.

Art time

Here is a couple cute smilies from the girls. They both love playing with the easel.

Christmas

Christmas this year was so much fun. The girls got spoiled again this year. Surprise surprise. Kylie got a new easel from santa and Jordyn got a cool rocking horse that makes sound effects. It was so fun to see the surprise in their eyes Christmas morning. Kylie was really excited. Jordyn wasn't sure what was going on but she was still all smiles. Kylie was really into openeing the presents but her problem was once she got them open she wanted to play right now. It took some creative talk to get here to keep opening all the presents. Jordyn had a very short attension span for opening presents so daddy had to help a lot.

Polar Express

Here are some pictures from our Polar Express adventure. Our whole family went along with my mom (dad couldn't go because of his back surgery) Heath's parents and Mary and Caleb. We had a blast! We went to Oregon to Mt. Hood railroad and got on a train the "polar express". It was just like in the movie. They served hot chocolate and cookies. They read the book all the while the train was headed to the North Pole to see santa! When the train got to the north pole (which was someone where in hood river, it was dark we couldn't tell where we were at!) it was all light up with Christmas lights and santa and his elves got on the train. Santa came and sat and talked to every child. Jordyn was just checking him out and Kylie wouldn't get very close but she did give him a high five. On the way back to the train station we sang Christmas carols. It was a lot of fun and we will probably do it again next year and again until the kids don't enjoy it any more.

Some pictures

Well here are some photos of the girls and family. These were are Christmas pictures for 2007! We had Tera from photography by Tera come to the house and take the pictures. It was so much easier and more relaxed then trying to get the girls to a studio! Tera does such a great job! We used her for Jordyn's first pictures also.

Hello everyone

Hello!

I just thought I would try this to see if I can keep everyone updated and show updated pictures of the girls!
