Kylie's surgery

Well as most of you know Kylie is going in on Monday the 15th for surgery. She is going to have tubes put in her ears and have her tonsils and adenoids taken out. The poor little thing has had multiple ear infections and may episodes of tonsillitis. So we decided it was time to do something about it. Anyway today I went in for her pre-op appointment. They gave me all the information about the surgeries and I was doing fine until the doctor said they would put her to sleep and then put a breathing tube in her. At that point I became very teary and very nervous. I know she is going to be just fine but even though it is a simple 45minute operation it is very hard to know they are going to put her completely under general anesthetic. I recovered well from that little breakdown but I am very nervous for when they take her out of my arms the day of the surgery. I know she will be scared and want me and I will be scared also but I will have to be strong for her! I know I can do it! (I'll wait to breakdown until she is out of sight and hearing range.) It seems so weird to think about when people have said their child has had this done. Because I can remember thinking that it is so simple and no big deal. Man what a new perspective I have now when it is my own child. When it is your own child no matter how simple and easy things might seem it is always very scary. Now I know how they must have felt. So if you could think of Kylie in your prayers over the next little while that would be great!

The polar express

waiting patiently for the conductor to punch their tickets and make is "snow".
Oh the anticipation of seeing Santa..................

Jordyn with Santa. She had no problem jumping over to sit on Santa's lap. She didn't care that he was a weird looking stranger.

Jordyn was really into the bell she got from Santa. I think she was just stalling so Santa would not leave. She really liked Santa and wasn't afraid at all. I was very surprised since her sister has never liked Santa.

This is as close as Kylie would get to Santa. She is sitting on my leg right next to him but as you can see she is leaning way back. She needs lots of personal space I guess! But at least she was able to talk to him a little and tell him what she wanted.

Kylie getting her bell from Santa. I think she was finally starting to warm up to him but she still wanted her distance in case she had to make a mad dash for the exit!

Jordyn was young enough that she was able to be a lap child. She didn't want any part of that and found her own seat! Sorry this one is a little out of order it should have been the first pic.

We went on our yearly trip the polar express. It is a train ride in mount hood where they reenact parts of the movie the polar express. The train takes you to the "north pole" where Santa and his elves get on the train. Then Santa sits with every child and gives them a bell. This is the second time we have went and it was a lot of fun. This year was so much better because both kids had a blast. Kylie is still afraid of Santa but did manage to tell him what she wanted for Christmas. Jordyn on the other hand is in love with Santa. She sat on his lap and talked to him and said Hi Santa about 100 times and then when he had to leave she said bye Santa about 100 times.

Halloween Day/Night

Kylie was snow white for the party and trick or treating. She loved being a princess. I think the part she loved the most was the tiara and the shoes! She was wearing the shoes around the house for days! The most beautiful snow white ever! (alright I might be a little biased)

Jordyn was a Pumpkin at the Halloween Party but for trick or treat she went as a monkey. She is the cutest monkey I have ever seen! She loves monkeys so this was the perfect costume for her.

Finally... Well lets just start with Halloween

Okay so finally I am updating my blog! Man what a whirl wind. We are in the new house and we love it! The girls love all the room to play! So anyway, I had a little halloween party for the little ones at work and I invited the neigbors. It was a lot of fun. We did crafts had some lunch and decorated cookies. Here is a few shots from the party!

Yes Yes Yes!!!

We finally did it. We sold our house. What a big stress relief. It was not an easy process at all and I don't ever want to do it again! I have learned so much during this process. 2 of the big things I have learned is to read contracts even fine print front to back and to get EVERY thing in writing! What a mess. We had to fire our original realtor which in turn caused a lot of hassle with the new house since she was handling both properties. Needless to say she wasn't happy about being fired and she got very petty. But we think we got that all under control now. We hope so anyway. So now we should close on both houses on July 1st. It will be so nice to get this all done and have all the stress just go away. What a strain on a marriage. Heath and I have been arguing a lot and the girls can tell things are not right. The girls also miss their toys so they will be so glad to get to the new house so they can have their toys back! Otherwise things here are the same as usual!

For Aunt Robin

Here are a couple pictures of Kylie in the outfit my brothers family got Kylie for her birthday. It makes my baby girl look so grown up. And yes Kylie LOVES Hannah Montana!

Kylie turned 3!

I can't believe my baby girl is 3 years old! But she reminds me that she is everyday when she tells me mommy I'm a big girl now I am 3 years old, I can do it myself! She has become little miss independant and a second mother to Jordyn. We are working on putting an end to the second one! We had Kylie's birthday party at a gymnastics center. It was so much fun. There was only about 8 kids but they seemed to all have fun. Kylie took a little while to warm up to doing things but then was all for it. She even started jumping into the foam pit by herself. The first time she went in Grandma Dot and I helped her in and she didn't like it and started crying so mommy went to the rescue. We got her out and me eventually (that is a whole other story that I will not share right now but I'm sure it will live on forever!). We did a Blues Clues theme since Kylie loves that show. The cake was very cute!! She loved it. The part I loved the best is I didn't have to clean up afterward. We took her in for her check up and she now weighs 35 pounds and is 36 inches long. She is in the 80% for height and 85% for weight. She is also very articulate for her age. She can count to 12 and knows her abc's. She is to smart for her own good (or I guess I should say for me!). She is the most loving little girl with such an infectious laugh! I love to hear her laugh! She is so beautiful and is growing to to such a wonderful little girl. I can't wait to see what happens in the years to come.

Easter sunday

The girls got all dressed up in their pretty dresses! I can't believe how big they are getting. We my parents, Heath's parents, David, Robin, Ciara and her boyfreind and Stetson and 2 of his freinds over for Easter lunch. We had a houseful but it was fun. The girls got spoiled of coarse. Not only did I go overboard again everyone else got them cute baskets full of cute stuff. The girls had fun going through their baskets. Then it was time for the Easter egg hunt in the back yard. They had fun getting the all the eggs. Kylie kept stopping to see what was inside. Jordyn just kept ging in circles but it was very cute to watch!

Kylie's Easter egg hunt.

Kylie also had fun doing her Easter egg hunt. She had fun getting the eggs but was more excited about what was inside them! Candy of course. When I got home from work she told me all about it. How she got lots of eggs and how she did NOT want to sit on the Easter bunny's lap. She wouldn't even get close to him. Jordyn didn't want to sit on his lap either but she was put on his lap and screamed the entire time. I have pictures of that but I don't have them scanned in! Sorry.

Jordyn's first Easter egg hunt!

This was Jordyn's first Easter egg hunt. It was at the day care and she had a blast. I was working so Daddy, Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Bob took Kylie and Jordyn. Daddy helped Kylie and Grandma and Grandpa helped Jordyn. The girls we seperated into age groups so no one would get hurt! Jordyn had so much fun picking them up and putting them in her basket. She was so proud of herself!

Lots of catching up to do!

Well it has been a while since I have posted anything so I have some catching up to do! I will be posting some new pics!

New adventure

What a busy 2 weeks. We have taken on a new adventure! We are having a new house built! Our house now is just to crowded! We are not moving far from where we are now just about a mile away. But we are going to have so much more room. Our house now is 1600 sq feet and the house we are building is 3300sq feet. We are so excited. The house we live in now just went on the market today so hopefully it sells. If for some reason we don't sell our house we wont be able to move to our new house. So if you know anyone looking for a house send them our way! This is a total new experience for Heath so he is very excited. I have had a house built before but I have never sold a house before so this should be an adventure. We go at he end of the week to pick out our colors and flooring and all that so it should be fun! Hey Kelly if you happen to read this we are moving by you guys. We are a street behind you and probably 6 or 7 houses down. So know we can have play dates at the big park! Anyway wish us luck!

Spaghetti night

This was dinner last night. It was Jordyn's first time having spaghetti and boy did she like it! As always Kylie loved it also! As you can see both girls really got into eating it! I'm not sure how much got into their mouths. Needless to say right after dinner their next move was into the bath tub!

Jordyn's new style!

This is Jordyn after she woke up from her nap yesterday! She had a lovely new hair style! The Mohawk really looks good on her!

It's official

Yep that's right I now have a very big girl! Kylie is in big girl panties! She is doing so good with potty training. She loves wearing her panties and has had very few accidents so far. She still wears a diaper at night but the last few morning she has been dry when she gets up so it won't be long and that diaper will be gone! We are so proud of her and she is so proud of herself.

Oh no here we go...

Well the day has come I now have to chase after 2 children! Yep Jordyn is walking!!! She has been taking steps for awhile but over the last week has really improved and is officially walking now! Kylie isn't sure what to think about it because Jordyn can get into more things now and can bug her more! Jordyn loves walking she is so proud of herself. It is so cute she will start walking and stop and look for you then give you her big cheecky smile laugh and start walking again! I love it! At the same time it makes me sad she is growing up. My babies are getting to big!
